master bedroom tour

Happy 2017! I hope you all are having a very blessed new year!! Its crazy to think about how much has changed for me in the last few months. I basically have a completely different life...and I am slowly but surely finding my footing with it all. I will finally have my bed back in a little over a month, along with the rest of my things and I can not wait! Looking through photos of my old house has me so excited to create again. I can not wait to share the new journey with you all but for now lets take a look back again at where it began.
Couldn't resist this photo. Miss my girls so much. |
My bedroom in this house was one of my favorite rooms to decorate. It was bright and soothing. I know bright and a bedroom don't really go hand and hand...most people like their rooms to be dark to sleep. For me, the crisp clean look of it was relaxing and peaceful. The room itself was a small room and I had it pieced together perfectly to suit my needs. I refinished the furniture to match the decor and chose clean white bedding with a light gray trim to pull it all together with the headboard. As you can see plants and subtle hints of gray are pretty much the only color in this room, but to me- it was a perfect amount. This tour will give you an full look at the room and my next blog will show the drastic before and after of the furniture and how I pieced it all together. I hope you enjoy :).
As you can see, my cat Finn thinks this is all about him. |
The kids helped me pick that tree out from the nursery. They named it Uncle Jerry. |
